Olivia is a sweet, loving 2.5 month old Rottweiler / Shepherd mix that weighs 17 lbs. She is estimated to be around 70-75 lbs once she is full grown. Olivia is loyal, loving, curious, and affectionate. She has no limits on the amount of puppy kisses she will give and loves to shower her humans with lots of them. She's a big cuddle bug, and loves to sprawl out in your lap for ear scratches and belly rubs before she drifts off to sleep. She is very playful, and is great about entertaining herself with her toys. She loves toys of any kind, but the ones that crinkle and squeak are her favorites. She is more independent than her siblings and likes to have some quiet time away from the loud play wrestling. She will find a comfy spot on the couch next to her humans or on a dog bed, curl up in her blanket with a chew toy, and just watch from across the room. She’s confident, friendly, and eager to make new friends wherever she goes. She’s the type of puppy you can take anywhere. She would love to go to dog-friendly shops, outdoor patios, neighborhood walks, or weekend adventures. She absolutely loves being included in the fun and soaking up all the attention and pets she can get from her adoring fans along the way. Olivia is looking for a forever family who will include her in their daily lives and love her as much as she’ll love them. Whether it’s going on walks, exploring new places, or enjoying lazy days at home, she’ll be your most loyal sidekick every step of the way. With her goofy charm, affectionate personality, and heart full of love, she is sure to fill your home with laughter, warmth, and endless cuddles.

Olivia is low to medium energy, so she is pretty mellow with short bursts of energy that are quickly burned with playtime in the backyard. When it’s time to play, Olivia has a fun-loving, silly side that’s guaranteed to make you smile. She loves toys, games, and anything that keeps her engaged with her people. She loves to prance around with her favorite toys in her mouth, proudly showing them off before she brings it to you to toss for her. But she also has a wonderfully calm, easygoing side that makes her the perfect snuggle buddy after playtime or a work from home companion to keep you company if you work remotely. She’s the ideal balance of playful and laid-back. She is always happy to go on outdoor adventures, but just as content curling up on the couch for a cozy afternoon nap. She shows off her confidence as she ventures outside and explores the backyard. As she grows and masters leash training, Olivia would love to go on casual neighborhood walks or even explore nature trails on longer hikes with her humans. Her future home needs to have a toy box full of squeaky toys, ropes, and chew toys. She’d really love having a monthly BarkBox subscription to keep the fun going with new surprises every month. Puzzle games and chew bones will also be great for keeping her busy indoors, especially as she is teething.

Olivia is dog, cat, and kid friendly. She loves other furry friends and would love to have another playful dog in her forever home. She would be perfectly fine being the only dog in the home, but she would benefit from having frequent play dates with other dogs as she grows up so she continues learning proper doggy communication skills and play etiquette. She would do best in a home with another dog that is patient and playful as she is a puppy and an older dog who isn't used to puppy energy and silly antics may not appreciate having a young little fur-sister around. Because of her young age and gentle demeanor, she would be able to acclimate to having a cat in her forever home with slow introductions. Since she is a playful puppy, she would do best with dog-friendly cats that have lived with dogs before. Olivia is currently in a foster home with kids around day care age through elementary school age, and she loves them all!  She would do well with kids of all ages as she has a sweet, gentle demeanor. She is going to start teething soon so her humans will need to keep a watchful eye on her to make sure she doesn't chew on human kid toys laying around in her reach. Since she is very fun-loving, cuddly, and sweet, she would do great with a family with kids who want a loving and playful pup to grow up with.

Olivia is kennel trained and has almost mastered outside training. She has started transitioning outside for potty training and is excelling. She has not yet started leash training due to her young age, so she will need additional practice with that as she grows a bit more. She sleeps in a kennel and playpen setup at night with no fuss. She just needs a yummy treat to snack on before she falls asleep. When she gets older, she would love to snuggle up in bed with her humans every night so she can get in as many cuddles as possible. For now while she is still potty training, it is recommended to use a kennel or puppy play pen at night and when you are not home. She is doing well with potty training since transitioning to going potty outside. When she is inside and needs to go, she will make her way to the back door and will use a potty pad if her foster mom doesn't make it there quick enough to let her out. She is still learning how to signal she needs to be let out, but does put her feet on the back door and starts pacing to get your attention.

Olivia's ideal home would be a house with a fenced in backyard to run around and play in. She would do well in an apartment, condo or townhouse and would prefer if her human either works from home or can take her into a dog-friendly office while she is still young. When she gets a little older, she would also love to go to doggy day care and have playdates a few times a week if there are no other dogs in the home so that she can have some fun playing with other doggy friends. No public dog parks for this little girl because who wants to risk your pup catching a disease or being bullied on by other random dogs anyways. She would love to have a family that has other dogs and kids, and would coexist well if there's a kitty in the home. She would be perfectly fine being the center of attention in her forever home, too. She does need to have someone home most of the day or that can take her into the office if working a hybrid schedule as she still needs frequent potty breaks every few hours. With her adaptable, happy nature, Olivia would be a wonderful fit for a variety of households. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is equal parts sweetheart and goofball, Olivia is your girl. She’ll keep you smiling, laughing, and feeling loved every single day.
