Tasha

Jellybean is a sweet, silly 2 year old bully mix that weighs 57 lbs. She is fully grown and will not get any larger. This playful, silly girl loves nothing more than her balls. You can usually find her walking around with one in her mouth as she does a happy hippo wiggle showing it off to her humans. She is such a fun-loving, outgoing, and endlessly entertaining dog and she makes her foster family laugh every day. She is always showing off her silly side when she is playing dress up. She loves to wear hats and necklaces and pretty dresses around the house. Once she's dressed up and feeling fancy, she prances around the room showing off her outfit. She would make her a perfect pup for a family with kids that would play dress up with her because she is so tolerant and is always happy to be included in activities with her people. She is really smart and loves to engage in training activities. This chubby girl will do anything for a yummy treat, which has made training a breeze. She knows how to sit, lay down, spin, and dance on her back legs. She's not a super active pup and probably wouldn't want to go on 20 mile hikes, but she's always up for a fun adventure as long as she's with her family. Whether she's lounging around on the couch playing with her toys, exploring nature trails, or just taking a quick trip in the car to do some errands around town, she is always happy to keep you company. With her perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm, Jellybean is ready to be your cuddle buddy, your adventure partner, and your daily source of laughter.

Jellybean is low to medium energy, so she is pretty mellow with short bursts of energy that are quickly burned with short exercise and play sessions. She is a laid back couch potato that loves to snuggle up on the couch for some cuddles with her human or sprawl out on her dog bed chewing on her favorite balls. She enjoys going on short leisurely walks around the neighborhood, going on car rides, and just hanging out with her human. She's a quick learner and is a pro at doggy puzzle games and other mental stimulation toys that involve dog treats hidden inside. Her favorite thing of all though is playing fetch and then keep away with her favorite Kong toy or big rubber balls. Anytime she goes anywhere outside of the home, you can usually find that she has snuck a ball in the car with her or will go on a walk with one in her mouth. She is very good at self entertaining herself when her human is busy at home, and will just curl up on her dog bed or the little trampoline in the backyard and chew on her ball. Give this girl a "tough chewer" Bark Box subscription and a toy box full of chew toys, and she will be the happiest girl in the world.

Jellybean is kid friendly and has shown that she can coexist with other dogs, but does not interact with them much. She would do well with kids of all ages as she loves to be cuddled and loved on. She also really enjoys playing dress up and being included in any activities with her humans, so if there are kids in the home that want a big furry doll to put cute dresses or hats on, Jellybean will always be happy to join in. Since she is very sweet and affectionate, but also super playful, she would do great with a family with kids who want a fun-loving pup to play and snuggle with. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and coexists best with the laid back male dogs in the home. She does not seem too fond of really hyper dogs that try to steal her favorite ball from her and will stare them down until they walk away from her ball. She would be perfectly happy being a solo dog in the home so that she gets to have plenty of playtime and cuddle sessions with her humans. She has not been introduced to cats at all, so it is unknown if she will be able to live with a kitty in the home. If there are kitties in the home, very slow intros and keeping an area where the cats can be separated from her if she does not get along with them is a must.

Jellybean is potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. She will not have an accident in the house at all, and will paw at the back door when she needs to go outside. If you do not see her pawing at the door, she will start whining to get your attention. She doesn't like to be left outside long by herself, so she will usually run out to potty and then run back to the door if her human isn't hanging outside with her. She sleeps in a kennel every night without a fuss and loves to take one of her favorite balls to bed with her to chew on until she falls asleep. She would love to sleep in bed with her human at night so she can get in extra cuddles while she sleeps, but would also be perfectly happy snuggling up on a dog bed by her human's bed too. She can be left out without being destructive and will not have an accident, but if you leave food/dog treats out that are at her eye level, she will probably help herself to a little snack. She is great on a leash and walks well once she gets going, but can pull initially because she is so excited to go. She is easily redirected with verbal commands and/or treats though, and doesn't pull much once she is corrected.

Jellybean's ideal home would be a house with a fenced in backyard to run around and play in. She would do fine living in apartment, condo or townhouse as long as her human works from home or works a hybrid schedule so she can get a few short walks and potty breaks throughout the day. No public dog parks for this sweet girl (who wants to risk your pup catching a disease or being bullied on by other random dogs anyways), but she would love to have fun adventures at Sniff Spots occasionally for playtime and exercise if she does live in an apartment, condo, or townhouse without a private fenced-in yard. She would love to have a family with kids of all ages for her to play and cuddle with. She really just loves to be with her humans and wants to spend as much time as possible cuddling and playing with them, so she would really love to be the only fur-child in the home. Jellybean is such an amazingly sweet, super silly, and fun-loving dog that would make an absolutely perfect companion for a family that wants a dog they can get endless laughs and cuddles from.
